v1.2 [Final Version]
I've never made a devlog before, but I added a bunch of stuff to this 'game' recently, so I might as well. The game hasn't gotten much attention, but I'm fine with that, since it was never meant to be popular anyway. If too many people played it, the servers would crash. At least that's what I tell myself.
The most important update: Your progress should now be saved even if you close the tab or window. You'll be brought back to the same location as long as you don't clear your cookies and local storage and what have you. Should make it easier to pick up things where they've been left off.
I've been adding images for the various areas. No new areas, but it should be easier to distinguish between different rooms when there are more visuals. You can see three images that were added above. (The original pictures are here, here and here.) I used a Python program I made that turns boring PNGs into more interesting GIFs with glitch effects, though it's meant only for my computer, so I'm not sure if anyone else would find it useful.
What else... Attempts at bugfixes and more CSS tweaks hardly anyone will notice, and a spiffier intro screen. Ultimately not much.
I won't be adding more to this game. Had the idea of putting in more characters and areas and adding puzzles or even an ending, but it's been so long and I doubt many people would see those things anyway. Right now, it already takes hours to see everything and most people will hardly go past the first area. I may fix more bugs later, but this is more or less the final version.
Some kind people have played this game and left messages. Thank you.
